Mack® Pioneer™ Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) helps you maintain a set speed and a safe following distance – and can even handle stop-and-go traffic to reduce stress on long hauls. This video walks you through how to turn ACC on, set your speed, and understand what the icons on the driver display mean.
In this video, you’ll learn how to:
• Turn on cruise control and select Adaptive Cruise Control in the driver information display
• Set your desired speed and read the ACC icon, set speed, and time-gap indicators
• Let ACC automatically adjust your speed and bring the truck to a stop with traffic
• Resume driving after short stops automatically, and use the throttle or Cruise Resume after longer stops
Adaptive Cruise Control is a driver-assist feature that helps you drive smarter, not harder. Always remain attentive and follow all traffic laws while using ACC.
