The Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series in 2020, but due to the COVID pandemic, didn’t get to have a parade. Now, having won the 2024 World Series, they finally get to celebrate with their fans with a parade. Los Angeles Times columnist Bill Plaschke states that its importance cannot be overstated, not only to the team, but to the fans and the city itself.
