MOONEYES Chatter-Rod, aka C-Rod Matsui, was taken by Chico from MOONEYES USA to his long-awaited Dream Place El Mirage! He was as excited as a kid at a theme park. In this video, we take a look at the Land Speed Race, where hot rods and other machines compete on Dry Lake. C-Rod picks out vehicles that caught his eye, both cars and bikes, and explains the key points.

Also appearing at the event are Kiyo from Kiyo’s Garage and Shinya Kimura from Chabott Engineering, who has been invited to this year’s 33rd YOKOHAMA HOT ROD CUSTOM SHOW 2025 with his motorcycle. We’ll also be bringing you footage of their race.
