From 3rd to 4th of April, the EU-Central Asia Summit was held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Council President António Costa attended the vital meeting with the heads of state of five Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
