Round 5 Recap
Round 5 was generally low scoring one with many teams contained to 1 or 2 correct answers. As always that didn’t stop some teams to perform above average as we had several teams with 5 correct answers and only ralle14 with incredible 6 correct answers in his derby game for top of the Division 1 against arallmuus, well done man.

Division 1
Ralle14 is topping the table with 12 points followed closely by vd309, arallmuus and strongkored. This is also a perfect example how the timing of the duels has big influence. For instance, ralle14 success is based mostly on his granite defense, his opponents got only 11 questions in 5 games right while division average is around 18 correct answers, quite incredible but those things tend to even out as the rounds pass.

Good wins for notblox1 and chi20 in this round, both getting 5 correct answers and important 3 points to their tally. Mv1986 at the bottom of table is prime relegation candidate with -1 point, only team in the negative across all divisions. Time to start playing man before rest of the pack gets too far forward. Not going to get easier in round 6 as well since vd309 is next in the line and he is the team with best percentage of correct answers across all divisions.

Division 2
This division looks super close after our joined leaders cls63 and jeremypwr both got held to the draw. They are leading the pack with 10 points and then we have 4 more teams on 9 points waiting for their slip ups. Seems like none of them is playing each other in next round so any slip ups against “winnable opponents will be extra expensive.

We had good performances from hakan2217 and VashaUdacha777 in this round, both of them getting 5 answers correct and winning their duels with goals to spare. One game deserves special mention, 1:0 win for dbshck against LTU_btc. It isn’t often that someone manages to get 3 points with just once correct answer.

Division 3
Few rounds ago I commented that Division 3 is looking a bit strange since there wasn’t many draws in it, seems like this is the round when that stat is returned closer to the mean. We even had 3 games that ended with 4:4 draws. Looking at the table, yassinmanai is leading the with 13 points, followed closely by B1g4udge and Patikno with 12 points. These three managed to put a bit of space behind them and make an early promotion statement to the rest of the division.

Division 4
Even without playing in this round Spack17 still managed to keep a healthy 5 points league on top of the division. HomieAllDay is currently on second place after winning his duel against BitcoinHunt3r with 5:4 result. Big 4:1 win for Joca97 which will help with boosting goal difference a bit.

LMS
LMS part of the competition was super interesting all the way till last game and we could have had a big bloodbath if snooker finished in a different way. As it is, we lost another 8 players which leaves only 17 live before buy backs come in. Really curious to see if Spack17 will pull the trigger since he is well positioned on 5th place.

Top of the table remains the same with vd309 leading the pack on 25 points and Saint-loup trailing him on 24. Still everything to play for since worst participants left are on 19 points, so only 6 points difference to the top.
