This is important dahil sa Bagong Pilipinas, bawat buhay ay mahalaga,” President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. remarked as he formally led the turnover of Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics for distribution to 28 provinces, aiming to provide primary healthcare services to Filipinos across the country.

In his speech, the President stated that these mobile clinics exemplify the Administration’s commitment to the health and welfare of Filipinos under the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act.

Through this initiative, President Marcos Jr. aims to ease the burden on Filipinos in remote areas seeking medical attention by improving access to healthcare services.

Spearheaded by the Department of Health (DOH), these mobile clinics or the Mobile Primary Care Facility (PCF) Vehicles are equipped with various medical equipment such as digital x-ray machine, portable ultrasound machine, hematology analyzer, chemistry analyzer, binocular microscope, clinical centrifuge and a generator set, among others.

The Chief Executive urged each local government unit (LGU) receiving these mobile clinics to provide their support and cooperation to ensure the project’s long-term effectiveness.

First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos for leading this initiative that aims to improve the country’s health care system.
